Rest assured, we're good guys. This whole site is about helping consumers—not aggravating them—so our privacy policy is really straight forward and simple. Here it is:

- When you sign up, we create a public profile for you—but it doesn't contain your last name (just your first name and the initial of your last name). This public profile allows people to see what questions you'e asked and what questions you've answered—including the answers. It also shows the geography that you associate yourself with. We store this stuff on our site.
- We track users' behavior on the site using Google Analytics but we never know any specific person's browsing behavior.
- Cookies—we baked them ourselves—may be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website. The information we keep is used to enhance the visitors' experience when using the website to display personalized content.
- E-mail addresses will not be sold, rented or leased to 3rd parties. Nobody. Gets. Your. Email.
- We'll send you a few emails here and there—but you'll always have the option to shut that off.
- When you connect your Facebook account, we store your Facebook name and account ID, as to indicate to you which account you're connected to, and also to enable your Facebook friends to find you on TalkFavorites.me. When you invite and search for your Facebook friends on TalkFavorites, we fetch your friends list in order for you to find who is on TalkFavorites, and invite the others, however no data is retained by the site (with exception to the names of people you invite, so that you may track your invites). If you register an account using the "Login with Facebook" button, we fill out the registration form for you using your email address, first and last name, and current location on Facebook. A connected Facebook account may also be used to post content to Facebook, which can only be initiated if you so choose, unless you have the "automatic" option selected.
- When you connect your Twitter account, we store your Twitter username and account ID to indicate to you which account you're connected to, and to enable your Twitter friends to find you on TalkFavorites.me. When you invite and search for your Twitter friends on TalkFavorites, we fetch your friends list in order for you to find who is on TalkFavorites.me, and invite the others, however, no data is retained by the site (with the excepetion to the names of people you invite, so that you may track your invites). A connected Twitter account may also be used to post content to Twitter, which can only be initiated if you so choose, unless you have the "automatic" option selected.
- Regarding Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Windows Live Mail, we fetch your contact list in order to find your friends on TalkFavorites.me, and enable you to send them invites. No contact information is retained using the feature (with exception to the names and emails of people you invite, so that you may track your invites).
- Your password is never transmitted to TalkFavorites.me when you use these services.
